Danville, CA (December 14, 2025) – The California Highway Patrol reported that an injury-involved traffic crash led to major delays on southbound I-680 near Sycamore Valley Rd in Danville on Saturday afternoon. The incident took place around 4:41 p.m. and included vehicles that ended up near the freeway’s center divider. Emergency services promptly reached the scene to evaluate the incident and offer medical aid to those affected. At least one individual was injured in the crash and was treated by paramedics. Officials have yet to disclose information on the number of vehicles involved or the extent of injuries. Southbound traffic faced major delays from emergency response efforts and lane closures. Motorists were warned of potential delays while crews cleared the area and worked to restore regular traffic flow. The incident is still under investigation, with no additional details released yet.
