Concord, CA (November 10, 2025) – A collision involving two vehicles occurred near the intersection of Willow Pass Rd and Port Chicago Hwy on Sunday evening, resulting in injuries to two individuals. This led to a multi-unit emergency response from Contra Costa County Fire and EMS teams. The incident was reported at approximately 8:37 p.m. on November 9, it involved a car and a white pickup. Emergency responders reported that both cars were damaged, with airbags having been deployed in at least one of them. At the scene, two individuals were assessed and deemed to have non-life-threatening injuries, labeling them as “green patients.” An additional ambulance was called to help transport the injured persons. Both patients were treated on-site before being transferred for additional evaluation. Officials did not clarify the precise reason for the accident or if any tickets were given. Traffic in the vicinity was briefly affected as emergency teams cleared the area and made sure surrounding drivers were safe. Local authorities are still looking into the incident, examining factors like visibility, road conditions, and possible driver mistakes.
