A traffic collision with unknown injuries was reported at about 10:40 p.m. Sept. 14, 2026, on northbound Interstate 405 near the Nordhoff Street off-ramp in California. The California Highway Patrol identified the location as just north of Nordhoff Street.
The initial dispatch did not provide a description of the vehicles involved or indicate whether any lanes were blocked. It also did not identify anyone as trapped or confirm that medical crews were needed.
At about 10:43 p.m., CHP documented a request for towing assistance from the scene. The requested tow service was given an estimated arrival time of 20 minutes.
The available CHP dispatch information did not include a later update on the vehicles, injuries, roadway conditions or the final disposition of the collision. The incident was handled within the CHP’s West Valley area.
