A traffic collision was reported Wednesday afternoon on State Route 182 near the Nevada state line in California, with an ambulance en route to the scene. The incident was logged at about 3:05 p.m. on Aug. 26, 2026.
The collision occurred near the roadway’s Stateline approach, identified by the California Highway Patrol as being on the California side of the border. The dispatch location was listed near the state line along State Route 182.
A sheriff’s office was reported at the scene by 4:16 p.m. CHP also warned that the highway closure could be very extended, with the possibility of lasting as long as eight hours.
