Coarsegold, CA (September 10, 2025) – On Sunday evening, a collision involving two vehicles on northbound Highway 41 resulted in one fatality and at least two injuries, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The accident occurred around 7:37 p.m. north of Road 406 on September 7. The cars that were part of the incident included a black Honda Accord and a Ford Escape. The exact events that resulted in the accident are still unclear. When first responders arrived, they discovered several individuals injured and one elderly person trapped inside one of the cars. Rescue teams responded rapidly to liberate the person, and CPR was administered on-site to one of the seriously hurt individuals. Unfortunately, it was confirmed that at least one individual died. Additionally, two others were injured and taken to local hospitals for medical care. The status of the individuals involved is still unclear. Officials have yet to disclose the names of those affected, and an inquiry into the collision is ongoing as law enforcement seeks to identify the causes behind the tragic incident.
