Cajon Pass, CA (April 6, 2026) – A motorcyclist died in a multi-vehicle collision on Sunday, April 5, on State Route 138 near Interstate 15 in Cajon Pass. Emergency responders arrived at approximately 5:21 p.m. to the area east of the Interstate 15 interchange following reports of a serious collision. Based on preliminary reports, the accident involved a motorcycle, a blue sedan, and a gold Chrysler minivan. Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered the rider lying down on the right side of the road past the barrier. The motorcyclist was subsequently declared dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed by authorities. Officials stated that the minivan driver fled the scene after the accident. State Route 138 was closed in both directions for several hours while crews investigated and cleared the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
