Byron, CA (November 14, 2025) – According to California Highway Patrol logs, a two-vehicle accident in eastern Contra Costa County resulted in one injury on Wednesday evening. The incident took place around 5:40 p.m. close to the junction of Byron Highway and Kellogg Creek Road. Two vehicles were part of the incident, but investigators have not yet figured out what triggered it. Paramedics arrived at the scene to assist those involved. An individual was harmed and taken to a close-by medical facility for additional care. Their current status has not been disclosed. The accident caused temporary disruptions on the rural road while officials conducted an investigation and cleared the area. The reason is still being evaluated.
