A traffic collision involving two vehicles was reported at about 3:41 p.m. Aug. 23 on northbound Interstate 880, just south of W A Street. The location was near the W A Street off-ramp in the Hayward CHP area.
CHP classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries. The available dispatch information did not identify any injured people or request medical transportation.
A follow-up update at 3:43 p.m. stated that both vehicles were drivable. The information indicates the vehicles were able to leave the immediate collision location without requiring recovery.
