Bonsall, CA (May 18, 2026) – A serious crash involving a car and a motorcycle occurred in Bonsall on Sunday, May 17, leaving at least one person with major injuries. The accident occurred at 8269 West Lilac Road. The first reports came in at approximately 8:17 p.m. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene after initial reports of a collision between a vehicle and a motorcyclist. By 8:23 p.m. , arriving crews verified that the incident involved a car and a motorcycle. The incident was later reclassified as a major injury traffic collision. The incident is still under investigation, and further information may be released as officials continue their review. Our thoughts are with the injured individual, and we wish them a complete and speedy recovery. Major Injury Concerns After Motorcycle Crashes. Motorcycle accidents often result in severe injuries since riders lack the protective barriers that enclosed vehicles provide.
