A black Toyota Prius collided with another vehicle on the southbound 110 Freeway at the West 39th Street on-ramp in Los Angeles on Aug. 20, 2026. The collision was reported at about 3:52 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
CHP listed one additional vehicle in the incident, but its description was unknown. Dispatch notes also indicated the possibility that the other driver may have left the scene.
An injured person was reported to be involved in the black Prius. The Los Angeles Fire Department was requested to assist, and an ambulance was reported en route shortly after the collision.
The incident was documented in the Central Los Angeles CHP area. The available dispatch information did not provide further details about the injuries, the other vehicle, or the roadway’s later status.
