A traffic collision involving a black Toyota Prius and a white Freightliner big rig was reported at 5:18 p.m. Oct. 1 on southbound Interstate 5 near the Concord Street on-ramp. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
Both vehicles were located on the right shoulder, according to the CHP dispatch. The location was described as southbound I-5 just north of Concord Street.
The dispatch did not report any lane closures, blocked travel lanes, fire, or trapped occupants. It also did not provide information about the cause of the collision or the extent of vehicle damage.
