A black Mazda CX-30 and a gray Chevrolet sedan were involved in a traffic collision on northbound Interstate 5 at Rosecrans Avenue in the Santa Fe Springs area on September 1, 2026. The California Highway Patrol logged the incident at about 3:57 p.m.
The collision was classified as a no-injury traffic incident. CHP dispatch information did not report injuries among those involved.
Both vehicles were reported on the right shoulder of the northbound freeway. The available dispatch information did not indicate that travel lanes were blocked.
