A black Chevrolet Camaro and a red Mazda collided on eastbound State Route 60 near Brea Canyon Road on Aug. 19, 2026, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information. The collision was reported at about 2:51 p.m. and involved no reported injuries.
The vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder of eastbound State Route 60, near the Brea Canyon Road off-ramp. CHP identified the location as eastbound State Route 60 just east of the Brea Canyon Road exit.
The dispatch update was issued at 2:52 p.m., shortly after the initial report. The information provided did not indicate that traffic lanes were blocked.
Towing assistance was requested for the vehicles. The incident was handled through the CHP’s Baldwin Park area, and the available dispatch information did not include additional details about the collision.
