Bel-Air, CA (October 4, 2025) – A vehicle accident on Thursday afternoon at the Wise School, situated on the Stephen Wise Temple grounds in Bel-Air, resulted in injuries to six people, comprising two elderly adults and three minors. The Los Angeles Fire Department verified that the accident took place just after 5 p.m. Emergency responders arrived at the 15500 block of North Stephen S Wise Dr. to discover a BMW that had crashed into a low wall on school grounds. Emergency medical personnel attended to several victims on-site, which included an elderly man aged 90 and a woman aged 80. Both elderly individuals were taken to a hospital close by; the man suffered significant injuries, whereas the woman was reported to be in stable condition. Additionally, four other people—a 30-year-old woman, an 11-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl, and a 17-year-old boy—were assessed by emergency medical teams and were found to be in stable condition. They refused to be transported to the hospital after the evaluation. The Los Angeles Police Department is still looking into the cause of the accident and is examining if either mechanical failure or driver mistake played a role.
