Bakersfield, CA (September 17, 2025) – On Monday night, a significant crash involving two vehicles happened in the southeast area of Bakersfield, leaving at least one individual with severe injuries, as per a report from the California Highway Patrol. The incident occurred at approximately 8:19 p.m. On September 15, at the crossroad of Hermosa Rd and South Fairfax Rd, emergency personnel from Bakersfield Fire and local EMS arrived and provided assistance to the injured person, subsequently taking them to a nearby hospital for care. The California Highway Patrol reported that a black Honda sedan crashed into another vehicle at the intersection. The impact force led one of the cars to collide with a nearby light pole, causing considerable damage. Investigators have not yet revealed details about the vehicle that collided with the pole or the circumstances surrounding the initial accident. The identity and health status of the injured person are also undisclosed, and the investigation is still in progress.
