On November 22, 2025, in Bakersfield, CA, a significant crash between two vehicles occurred on northbound Highway 99 close to Ming Avenue. This incident led to multiple casualties and prompted an extensive emergency response effort on Friday morning. The accident was initially reported at around 9:06 a.m. Involving seven people from both vehicles, multiple ambulances and fire units were sent to the location, as reported by radio communications from Kern County and Bakersfield Fire crews. Upon arrival, first responders located all seven individuals involved in the incident and ensured they were breathing. However, multiple people had sustained injuries necessitating urgent medical care. Extra engines and a second ground ambulance were requested to help with patient care due to the number of individuals affected. The accident resulted in considerable delays on the northbound lanes of CA-99 as responders worked to stabilize the injured and control the traffic around the area. The severity of the injuries has not been officially verified, but the scale of the response suggests it is a high-priority situation. The California Highway Patrol is currently looking into the cause of the accident. Authorities are anticipated to provide additional information after the initial review is finalized. We sincerely hope for a swift recovery for everyone affected by this accident.
