Bakersfield, CA (October 30, 2025) – A collision involving two vehicles on Butler Road close to Belle Terrace on Tuesday morning resulted in at least one injury and caused a temporary blockage of the road, as per the California Highway Patrol. The incident was reported around 9:04 a.m. on October 28, it involved a blue Toyota car and a gray GMC truck. During the collision, one of the vehicles hit a guy wire connected to a power pole, causing extra worries at the location. When emergency teams arrived, they discovered the woman driving one of the cars trapped inside. It was reported that she was awake and aware when the responders started the rescue operations. Emergency medical technicians assessed the people involved and took one person with minor injuries to a nearby medical facility. The two vehicles involved in the accident showed visible damage and were promptly removed by towing vehicles. The road was completely cleared by about 9:30 a.m. No arrests or citations were made at the scene, and the cause of the collision is being investigated.
