Anaheim, CA (September 25, 2025) – Early Thursday morning, emergency personnel quickly arrived at the site of a serious accident between a motorcycle and another vehicle on the eastbound lanes of State Route 91, just west of Brookhurst St. The accident took place at approximately 8:04 in the morning. This led to a swift reaction from emergency paramedics and firefighters to help an injured motorcyclist. Medical staff and fire crews provided care on-site for several cuts and bleeding injuries sustained by the rider. The motorcyclist was discovered on the right side of the road, and while the specific circumstances of the accident are still being examined, the injuries were severe enough that prompt transportation was necessary. The crash seemed to take place either slightly west of Brookhurst or on the overpass over I-5, which complicated the situation and made it difficult for emergency teams to reach the area. Traffic rapidly became congested as officials organized towing services and attempted to clear the affected lanes. A flatbed tow truck was sent to tow away the motorcycle and the other vehicle that were left on the right shoulder after the accident. Although no information has been provided about the second vehicle or those inside it, the CHP has verified that all vehicles were located on the right side when they arrived. The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident, and they have not yet established if speed, lane changes, or road conditions contributed to the accident. Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam video to step forward and help with the investigation.
