On November 5, 2025, in northeast Los Angeles at the intersection of N Broadway and S Avenue 20, there was a hit-and-run accident that resulted in one person being injured. The accident happened shortly after midnight, around 12:14 a.m. This incident prompted a reaction from both the LAPD and medical personnel. Preliminary information indicates that the victim was struck by a car which left the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement. Emergency responders assisted the injured person and took them to a local hospital for care. The severity of the injuries has not been revealed to the public. Officers set up a perimeter and started searching the area for evidence and possible surveillance footage that could aid in identifying the driver who fled. No one has been arrested, and a description of the suspect has not been provided yet. Authorities are still looking into this hit-and-run and are asking anyone with information to step forward. We sincerely wish for the victim’s recovery and encourage the community to help ensure accountability in this case.
