A traffic collision was reported at 11:38 p.m. Sept. 3 on westbound State Route 91 just east of Valley View in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision involving an ambulance response.
By 12:37 a.m. Sept. 4, CHP reported that an involved person was to be transported by ambulance. An officer was riding with the person during the transport.
Another officer, identified in the dispatch as Officer Lopez, followed the ambulance in a patrol vehicle. The update did not provide additional information about the collision or the person’s condition.
The dispatch identified the location as westbound 91 near Valley View and assigned the incident to the CHP’s Westminster area. No information about lane closures, additional vehicles, or the cause of the collision was included.
