A traffic collision was reported Aug. 15 at the intersection of Buena Vista Avenue and Tehama Vina Road in the Red Bluff area. The incident was logged at approximately 7:48 p.m., with the collision occurring on the northbound side of the roadway.
The California Highway Patrol received the initial report shortly before 8 p.m. Dispatch information identified the location as the northbound roadway near the intersection, but did not provide descriptions of the vehicles involved.
An ambulance was reported en route to the scene. CHP dispatch information did not specify whether anyone was injured or whether anyone required transportation for medical treatment.
A subsequent dispatch update noted that a roadway hazard was present. The available information did not identify the nature of the hazard or document any lane closure, tow request or additional emergency response.
