The dispatch did not state how many vehicles were involved or provide an injury description. It identified a Dodge Caliber in a later update connected with the incident.
A CHP update entered at 3:42 p.m. also referenced the Stateline area and a vehicle-services action associated with the Dodge. The available information did not identify the nature of that action in language suitable for public reporting.
