An ambulance was en route Friday afternoon after a traffic collision on the northbound State Route 99 on-ramp at Cosumnes River Boulevard in California. The California Highway Patrol recorded the incident at 3:44 p.m. on Aug. 21, 2026.
The collision location was identified as the northbound on-ramp connecting Cosumnes River Boulevard with northbound SR 99. CHP classified the incident as a traffic collision with emergency medical assistance responding.
A subsequent dispatch update at 3:51 p.m. said the reporting party had seen only a white male with a dog. The update did not provide additional vehicle descriptions or clarify whether the individual was involved in the collision.
