A traffic collision was reported Aug. 31 on Mosquito Road near Randolph Canyon Road in the Placerville-area CHP jurisdiction. The incident was reported at about 3:42 p.m., and an ambulance was listed as en route.
The dispatch location was identified as 9771 Mosquito Road, at the intersection with Randolph Canyon Road. CHP information did not include descriptions of the vehicles involved or the direction of travel.
A 3:56 p.m. update indicated that a tow operation had started at the scene. The dispatch did not identify the towing provider.
The same update stated that a party was being transported to the marshal. CHP did not provide additional details about the person’s condition or the circumstances of the collision.
