On November 24, 2025, in Los Angeles, CA, a fatal accident involving a train and a pedestrian occurred in the Watts neighborhood, resulting in the loss of a person’s life on Saturday night. The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that the incident took place at approximately 8:17 p.m. On November 22, at around 11500 S Wilmington Ave., there was an incident where a pedestrian was hit by a two-car Metro A Line train. The emergency services were informed and arrived promptly to the location. The victim, whose name has not been made public, was declared dead at the location. The deadly event took place on the Metro A Line route, which runs through some of the city’s most heavily trafficked commuting areas. No passengers or crew members were reported injured in the train incident. Authorities are still looking into the events that caused the collision. It is still uncertain if the pedestrian was trying to cross the tracks or was already on the railway when the incident occurred.
