In the Mid-City area of Los Angeles, a pedestrian lost their life in a hit-and-run incident involving an SUV on La Brea Avenue. The incident occurred on Friday night, September 12, at 10:21 p.m. the incident involving a hit and run on La Brea Avenue took place. As reported by the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident took place on La Brea Avenue, just south of Venice Boulevard. Authorities discovered that the pedestrian was walking eastward across La Brea when they were hit by a dark or silver Honda CRV. Rather than halting, the driver proceeded to drive north on La Brea without offering assistance. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department took the victim to a hospital, where medical staff later declared them deceased. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed by authorities as they await notification of the family. The police have revealed a reward of up to $50,000 for information that would result in the arrest and conviction of the driver involved in the hit and run on La Brea Avenue.
