A pedestrian was fatally hit on October 28th, in a crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles, as per the authorities. The California Highway Patrol stated that the accident was reported at approximately 5:53 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway close to Manchester Avenue. Upon their arrival, authorities discovered a pedestrian lying on the road who had been struck by a vehicle or vehicles. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office attended the scene to assume control of the body. Caltrans teams showed up to clear the road. Officials shut down three lanes for several hours while the CHP conducted an investigation, issuing a SigAlert. The accident led to major traffic jams in both directions.
