In Huntington Beach, CA, two individuals lost their lives on Thursday evening due to a collision on Beach Boulevard that included a pedestrian and a motorcycle, as reported by the Huntington Beach Police Department. Police arrived at the scene at approximately 8:27 p.m. On October 9, there were reports of an accident occurring close to Beach Boulevard and Ellis Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered a motorcyclist, a 45-year-old man from Los Angeles, along with a pedestrian who was a 46-year-old resident of Huntington Beach. According to city spokesperson Corbin Carson, both individuals were found unconscious on the road. Initial reports suggest that the Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling south on Beach Boulevard when it collided with the pedestrian. At the moment of the accident, the victim was outside the designated crosswalk. Paramedics with the Huntington Beach Fire Department declared both individuals deceased at the location of the incident. It has not yet been determined if substances such as alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident. The Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team of the Huntington Beach Police Department is still investigating the reasons behind the incident and is requesting that anyone with relevant information reach out to Traffic Investigator V. Rattanchandani at 714-536-5231. This follows the collision on Beach Boulevard. Serious accidents between pedestrians and motorcyclists typically necessitate a thorough examination.
