(Lake Elsinore, CA) On Saturday, October 4, 2025, at approximately 12:53 a.m. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reports that a pedestrian was killed in a vehicle collision on Dexter Avenue, close to 11th Street. Deputies responded to the scene following reports of the incident in a residential neighborhood to the east of downtown Lake Elsinore. Brad Foster reported that the driver who was involved transported the injured pedestrian to a local hospital prior to the arrival of law enforcement. Later, deputies encountered both individuals at the medical facility, where the pedestrian was declared dead. Officials mentioned that the driver was cooperative during the investigation. Initial reports suggest that alcohol might have played a role in the incident. No suspects were detained at the location, and authorities indicated that the matter will be sent to the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office for examination.
