A man died in a car accident on the San Bernardino Freeway in Boyle Heights on November 16th, around 4:30 a.m. The incident involved two vehicles, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. on the westbound 10 Freeway close to the Cesar Chavez Avenue entrance. A collision occurred between two black cars, resulting in the death of a male individual on site. His name has not been disclosed yet as they are waiting to inform his family. Authorities issued a SigAlert at 6:40 a.m. This resulted in the closure of the No. 2 and 3 lanes of the westbound freeway for several hours as investigators examined the scene. The alert was called off at 8:13 a.m. The SigAlert resulted in a traffic jam stretching for miles during the morning rush hour.
