On October 27, 2025, in San Diego, CA, a motorcycle accident took place at around 6:34 a.m. The collision involved multiple vehicles and resulted in injuries to the motorcyclist. The incident led to traffic disruptions along the southbound HOV lanes of Interstate 15 near Miramar Way, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. and initially included a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle. CHP dispatch records show that the rider fell in lanes two and three, and four vehicles were eventually stopped at the crash location. The motorcyclist was observed moving but was still on the road, necessitating an immediate medical response. Emergency teams quickly arrived and issued a SigAlert at around 6:45 a.m. confirming that all HOV lanes south of Miramar Way would be closed for about an hour. At one time, only one of the four HOV lanes was available while officers redirected traffic to the main lanes of I-15. A tow truck was called for vehicle removal, and more units helped with traffic management. The cause of the crash is still unknown, and the motorcyclist’s condition has not been officially disclosed. The CHP is still looking into the incident.
