(Santa Ana, CA) On the night of Tuesday, October 7, around 10:45 p.m. The accident on West Warner Avenue close to South Broadway resulted in one fatality and two injuries, while authorities were on site to investigate the cause of the collision. As per the Santa Ana Police Department and City News Service, the incident occurred between a food truck and a Chevrolet Trailblazer in the 200 block of West Warner Avenue. Consequently, the collision caused the food truck to tip over, leaving the driver stuck inside. The officers and firefighters who arrived at the scene declared the driver deceased. Upon arrival, paramedics took two additional individuals to a local hospital due to injuries that were not specified. Officials stated that the reason for the crash is still being investigated. The road was shut down for a short time late Tuesday night to allow teams to clear debris and for investigators to collect evidence. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family as the inquiry proceeds.
