(San Felipe, CA) On Sunday afternoon, November 30, a head-on collision occurred on San Felipe Road, resulting in the death of at least one individual and several others being severely injured. The California Highway Patrol was informed of the incident at approximately 3:08 p.m. at 25704 San Felipe Road. An iPhone crash alert alerted dispatchers, who subsequently discovered that one of the vehicles had flipped over and caught fire. Emergency responders arrived to find several victims trapped in the debris. ABC10 News announced that four individuals were transported to hospitals by air by first responders. One of the four victims needed CPR, and two others suffered significant injuries. Authorities declared at least one individual dead at the scene, but their identity remains undisclosed. The CHP released a SigAlert at 5:41 PM. , shutting down traffic lanes for a number of hours. They reopened the area soon after 11 p.m.
