In Los Angeles, California on November 4th, a fatal accident occurred on the Eastbound 43183 Freeway near Jefferson Park. The incident involved a food truck and another vehicle which caught fire. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at around 2:15 a.m., according to Officer Elizabeth Kravig. One individual lost their life in this accident. on the eastbound Santa Monica Freeway, located just south of Crenshaw Boulevard. Authorities reported that a food truck was involved in a collision with another vehicle. Consequently, the car became stuck underneath while both vehicles were on fire. When crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived, they discovered both cars ablaze and began efforts to put out the fire. Once the fire was extinguished, paramedics declared a man deceased at the location. They also transported a 32-year-old man from one of the vehicles to a nearby hospital. LAFD spokesperson Lyndsey Lantz stated that his condition was not immediately clear. After the accident, three lanes of the eastbound freeway and the Arlington Avenue exit were shut down, leading to a SigAlert being issued at 2:45 a.m. stayed in place for several hours until one lane was reopened at 6:45 a.m.
