The incident took place on Tuesday, December 23, around 3:04 p.m. , according to details from public-safety dispatch communications. The dispatch call revealed that several vehicles were part of the incident, originally reported as a traffic hazard and later escalated to a collision with injuries. An ambulance was called in as part of the response, with police already present managing traffic. Reports also mentioned a large semi-truck that contributed to hazardous road conditions just before the crash. Southbound lanes of I-15 faced heavy congestion while authorities secured the scene and managed the incident. Authorities have yet to disclose details on the number of injuries or their severity, and additional information about the cause of the collision remains unavailable.
