San Francisco, CA (December 21, 2025) – Multiple people were injured in a vehicle collision in the South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood. The crash happened at approximately 8:01 p.m. At the intersection of 5th Street and Brannan Street, the incident prompted a swift response from San Francisco Fire Department crews and medical personnel. On-site medics treated multiple victims for various injuries suffered in the crash. One individual was taken to a local hospital for further treatment. The number of vehicles involved remains unconfirmed, though officials noted the crash was severe enough to briefly disrupt local traffic. Officers cordoned off the intersection and are investigating the factors behind the collision. Additional information on contributing factors has not been disclosed yet.
