Sausalito, CA (December 20, 2025) – An injury-involved crash was reported Saturday afternoon on southbound US-101 near Donahue St in Sausalito, leading to major lane blockages and traffic backups in Marin County. The incident happened around 12:03 PM, triggering a swift response from local firefighters and EMTs. First responders reached the scene and offered medical attention to people with assorted crash-related injuries. Several individuals were assessed at the scene, with at least one transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. Multiple lanes of southbound US-101 were impacted while authorities cleared wrecked vehicles and secured the safety of those involved. The California Highway Patrol helped manage traffic and launched an investigation into the crash’s circumstances. Officials haven’t disclosed the number of vehicles involved or pinpointed a cause yet, but delays were anticipated into the early afternoon while crews cleared lanes.
