Los Angeles, CA (December 19, 2025) – A collision involving four vehicles on the northbound 5 Freeway near Indiana Street injured one person, who was hospitalized Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash took place around 6:56 PM on Tuesday, December 18, in a heavily trafficked section of the freeway in East Los Angeles. Although specific details of the sequence of events causing the crash remain unconfirmed, the accident involved several vehicles and triggered a rapid emergency response. Paramedics reached the site and took one person to a local hospital for medical care. The injured person’s condition hasn’t been made public, but the injuries were severe enough to require hospital treatment. Traffic in the area was delayed while officials investigated the scene and removed the vehicles involved. Officials are still reviewing the cause of the crash, with no additional details released.
