Los Angeles, CA (December 16, 2025) – A crash around late morning in the West Valley area caused reported injuries at the Sherman Way and Shoup Ave intersection on Monday. The incident occurred at about 10:57 a.m. , involving two or more vehicles in a busy area of Los Angeles. Emergency responders, including paramedics and firefighters, arrived at the scene to assist the injured, with at least one person transported to a local hospital for additional treatment. Traffic was disrupted in the vicinity while crews handled the accident site. Damaged vehicles temporarily blocked lanes as responders addressed hazards and ensured the scene was safe for clearance. Los Angeles Police Department officials have launched an investigation into the crash’s cause. Initial reports indicate that failure to yield or distracted driving could be factors, but a final conclusion is still pending.
