Gilroy, CA (December 14, 2025) – The California Highway Patrol reported an injury-involved traffic collision Saturday afternoon on eastbound CA-152, just west of Ferguson Rd near Gilroy. The incident happened around 4:28 p.m. which resulted in emergency responders being sent to the scene. At least one person was injured in the crash, although the total number of individuals involved and the extent of the injuries remain unconfirmed. Paramedics provided on-site treatment to the injured and took at least one person to a local hospital for additional care. The victim’s identity and condition have not been disclosed. The crash blocked one lane on eastbound CA-152, leading to delays for motorists in the area. CHP officers stayed at the scene to handle traffic and carry out an initial probe into the crash’s cause. Authorities have yet to confirm if factors like speed, distraction, or road conditions played a role. The investigation continues.
