A significant traffic accident in Porterville’s Sierra View District on November 28, 2025, caused severe injuries and attracted rapid assistance from police and emergency services. The occurrence was documented around 12:30 a.m. On November 28, a significant injury accident occurred near 0 W Putnam Ave, which is close to State Route 190, just east of Road 192, as verified by California Highway Patrol records. Hospital personnel allegedly reached out to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office around 11:50 p.m. I am reporting that a person injured in a crash has been brought in with severe injuries, which has prompted an investigation. Officers from the CHP’s Central Division are on their way to the crash site near the eastern part of Porterville to examine the situation and find out more details about the incident. While information about the cars involved or the number of people injured has not been disclosed, the accident was deemed a ‘major injury’ crash. It is currently unknown if the collision happened near the road or if the injured person was brought from another location close by. CHP is still looking into the precise order of events, including if any other individuals or vehicles were involved. There have been no updates released yet about arrests, contributing factors, or traffic effects. More information is anticipated as officials finalize their investigation of the crash and associated evidence.
