A 70-year-old man sustained severe injuries on November 4 in a collision on Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon, CA. The vehicle involved left the scene and its driver fled, as per the police. The El Cajon Police Department stated that they arrived at the scene around 3:30 p.m. to reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the 400 block of Fletcher Parkway. Upon their arrival, the initial rescuers discovered the injured party enduring a severe cranial trauma. Paramedics took him to a hospital, where doctors believe he will survive. Witnesses gave police a thorough description of the suspect’s vehicle, along with its license plate number. Officers swiftly found and apprehended the driver using automated license plate reading technology. They recognized the driver as 19-year-old Brian Guevara. Authorities reported that Guevara eventually confessed to his participation in the incident and was taken to county jail on hit-and-run charges. Summary of the Fletcher Parkway Collision.
