The CHP reported that the left lane of US-101 S was closed because of the accident, leading to considerable traffic delays in the area. Teams acted swiftly to control the situation, help those affected, and start removing vehicles from the road. Officials have not disclosed the specific number of vehicles involved or the names of the injured individuals. An inquiry is in progress to establish the reasons behind the crash, looking into factors such as speed, lane changes, or driver distraction that may have played a role.
