Emergency services and paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department quickly arrived at the scene shortly after the incident took place around 12:25 p.m. The California Highway Patrol’s incident log indicates that a cyclist was hit by a vehicle, with the details still being investigated. Medical personnel provided treatment to the injured cyclist on-site before taking them to a local hospital for additional assessment. Authorities have not yet verified the seriousness of the injuries. CHP officers stayed at the scene to inspect the crash site and collect statements from witnesses.
