Bakersfield, CA (October 9, 2025) – On Wednesday morning, emergency responders were called to the scene of a significant multi-vehicle accident at the junction of California Ave and Real Rd in Bakersfield. The accident was reported at approximately 8:17 in the morning. According to Kern County Fire dispatch, the incident involved at least three to four vehicles and resulted in one person being trapped inside a vehicle. Several units, including fire engines and police, were sent to the location. Firefighters swiftly rescued the person who was trapped, while paramedics were on standby to provide prompt medical assistance. The status of the person who was trapped, along with those involved, has not been disclosed to the public. Investigators are still present at the location to determine the cause of the accident and to make sure the intersection is cleared safely. The accident caused major disruptions to traffic during the morning rush hour. Our condolences go out to those hurt in this incident, and we hope for a safe and speedy recovery for everyone affected.
