Bakersfield, CA (October 6, 2025) – Early Sunday morning, a significant vehicle accident occurred near the intersection of Old River Rd and White Ln, leaving six individuals injured and necessitating a substantial emergency response with several ambulances and an air ambulance. The incident was reported at approximately 4:21 a.m. Bakersfield Fire and EMS reported that five people suffered moderate injuries, and one person had minor injuries. All individuals involved were effectively freed from the debris prior to receiving medical assessments and being taken to a medical facility. Three ground ambulances were sent to the location, and air support was called in to aid with transporting the patients. Rescue teams worked together to position the air ambulance southeast of the accident scene to provide quicker medical assistance to the more seriously injured. Officials have not disclosed additional information regarding the events that caused the crash or the total number of vehicles involved.
