San Jose, CA (October 6, 2025) – A collision involving two vehicles occurred near Belmas Ave and W San Fernando St on Sunday morning, resulting in injuries to four individuals and triggering an extensive emergency response. The accident happened at approximately 11:00 in the morning. The incident included a white Toyota Highlander SUV and a silver two-door sedan. San Jose Fire reports indicate that airbags were activated in both cars. At first, it was thought that one person was stuck inside the SUV; however, by the time responders arrived and secured the area, all four passengers had been safely extracted from the vehicles. Emergency medical and fire teams stayed at the location to evaluate and provide care for the injured individuals. Two ambulances were positioned strategically in collaboration with police and fire units, including Engine 24, Engine 28, and Engine 17. Authorities have verified that both cars stayed upright after the collision. While the complete details of the injuries are not available, all four people involved received medical assistance at the scene. It is still uncertain whether any of the wounded individuals were taken to the hospital. Officials have not provided details regarding the reason for the accident or if any tickets were given. The situation was deemed secure as emergency responders carried on with their investigations and worked to clear the road.
