La Quinta, CA (October 1, 2025) – On Tuesday evening, a grave accident between a bus and a car resulted in one individual suffering critical injuries and several others being hospitalized, as reported by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. The incident took place just before 6:20 p.m. at the corner of Washington Street and Eisenhower Drive, close to Avenue 48. Emergency crews found the bus wreck and a severely damaged car when they arrived. Officials reported that the driver of the car needed to be freed from the wreckage and was subsequently airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition. The bus driver and one passenger were taken to a hospital, and both are reportedly in stable condition. There were four more passengers on the bus during the incident, but it hasn’t been verified if they were hurt. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, and no additional information about the circumstances leading to the collision has been disclosed.
