Fresno, CA (October 1, 2025) – An early morning accident on Tuesday in northeast Fresno, which took place shortly after midnight around 12:13 a.m., involved a bicyclist and a vehicle, leading to injuries and prompting an emergency medical response at the location. on September 30, at the crossroads of N Maple Ave and E Clinton Ave. As per reports from the California Highway Patrol in Fresno, an individual on a bicycle was hit by a vehicle at or around the intersection. Emergency teams, comprising fire and medical staff, quickly reached the scene to evaluate and assist the injured cyclist. The medics promptly provided care to the victim, who had injuries typical of a moderate traffic accident. Details about the severity of the injuries have not yet been disclosed, and officials have not verified if the driver stayed at the location or was helpful to the investigators. This area of Fresno experiences both residential and commercial traffic, and bicycle-related incidents continue to be a significant issue, especially at night. It is not clear if visibility, road conditions, or speed played a role in this accident. The CHP is currently looking into the details of the incident.
