Hollister, CA (September 29, 2025) – On Saturday evening, a pedestrian was injured slightly after a collision involving multiple vehicles near the crossing of State Route 156 and State Route 25, located just south of the Hollister roundabout. The event was initially reported around 8:15 PM. This incident prompted an immediate response from emergency services in the Hollister-Gilroy region. As reported by the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place between a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle, with one of the vehicles located on SR-25 and the other on eastbound SR-156. The crash resulted in the temporary closure of one southbound lane on SR-25 while officials managed the situation and helped those injured. Emergency personnel at the scene noted that a pedestrian was affected and suffered slight injuries. Healthcare professionals conducted an on-site assessment prior to organizing additional treatment. The specific details regarding the pedestrian’s participation—such as whether they were hit or harmed afterwards—are still being looked into. Both cars were shifted to the right side of the road, and Quality Tow was contacted to help clear the area. Officials stayed at the location until the evening to control traffic and gather evidence, prioritizing the safety of drivers. The California Highway Patrol has yet to disclose details about what caused the accident or if any tickets will be issued. They observed that the merging lane from SR-156 to Southbound SR-25 contributed to the situation in that area.
